The New Testament is not a single book, it is a collection of books by eight different writers. Among these are James and Judas, brothers of Jesus (who certainly should have known whether he existed), and Paul who met James the brother of Jesus. There is evidence that Jesus existed, and that the New Testament account of him is reliable. This evidence is overwhelming.
