The Covenant of Promise and the Relationship between The Father and The Son.

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css="" css_animation="none"] A @Christadelphians Video: Description: God as the father is related to the Lord Jesus Christ and the covenants. The covenants of David & Abraham are fulfilled in Christ. Modern versions change the word ‘begotten’ supported by explanation of the Nicene Creed & the KJV. There is no Bible support for the Trinity. The principle of ‘begotten’ is involved in the death, resurrection of Jesus to sit in God’s throne. Solomon was a pattern of Lord, Jesus Christ. ### Summary The content discusses the relationship between God the Father and God the Son, challenging the concept of Trinitarianism through the lens of biblical Unitarianism. It focuses on the covenants of promise made to Abraham and David, highlighting how both covenants promise an offspring that is fulfilled in Jesus Christ. The speaker argues that the typological relationships between figures like Isaac and Solomon further illustrate this connection, suggesting that the true nature of the Father-Son relationship is rooted in the events of Jesus' death, resurrection, and exaltation rather than in notions of eternal generation. ### Highlights - 📜 **Covenants of Promise**: The Abrahamic and Davidic covenants promise an offspring, which is identified as Jesus Christ, illustrating a father-son relationship that reveals the nature of God. - 🕊️ **Typological Framework**: Isaac and Solomon are seen as types of Christ, with Isaac's near-sacrifice and Solomon's exaltation serving as foreshadowing of Jesus' sacrifice and kingship. - ⚖️ **Trinitarianism vs. Unitarianism**: The speaker argues that Trinitarianism fails to adequately explain the biblical narrative, advocating for a Unitarian perspective that focuses on the covenantal promises and their fulfilment through Christ. ### Keywords #Covenants #BiblicalUnitarianism #FatherSonRelationship [embedyt] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8PmlgYp0HE8[/embedyt] [/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css="" css_animation="none"]*************************************************************************************** This video was produced by the ChristadelphianVideo.org project, arranged and supported by Christadelphians worldwide. One God - Not 3 God's in one - The Trinity is made up.

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css="" css_animation="none"] A @Christadelphians Video: Description: The Bible affirms that God is One. The Son of God has a united purpose with his Father from whom emanates the Holy Spirit which empowered the Son to overcome sin to save us. # Summary The presentation by Kevin Sweeney discusses the concept of God as presented in the Bible, specifically addressing the doctrine of the Trinity, which posits that God exists as three distinct persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Sweeney argues against this notion, asserting that the Bible reveals a singular God, Yahweh, and that the idea of a Trinity is a conundrum that lacks logical coherence. He references various biblical texts to support his view that God is one and that the distinctions made within the Trinity are not substantiated by scripture. The presentation aims to clarify the understanding of God as a singular entity, as opposed to a complex Trinity. # Highlights - 📖 **Biblical Revelation of God**: The God of the Bible reveals Himself as a singular entity rather than as three distinct persons, as seen in Deuteronomy 6 where it states, "The Lord our God is one Lord." - 🤔 **Trinity as a Mystery**: The concept of the Trinity is described as a "mystery" that defies human reasoning, which Sweeney argues is contradictory and lacks clarity in biblical texts. - 📜 **Historical Context**: Sweeney shares insights from historical documents, including Catholic doctrine, to illustrate the widespread belief in the Trinity and contrasts it with the singular understanding of God. - 🔍 **Scriptural Interpretations**: The presentation highlights various scripture passages, including those from Exodus and Psalms, to emphasize the oneness of God and the rejection of idol worship. - 🗣️ **New Testament Insights**: Sweeney discusses New Testament references, particularly in 1 Corinthians and Acts, to reinforce the idea that there is only one God and that Jesus is His Son, not a separate deity. - 👶 **Birth of Jesus**: The account of the angel Gabriel announcing the birth of Jesus is examined, with Sweeney asserting that it is God’s power that brings about [embedyt] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8vCOY5YMIfM[/embedyt] [/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css="" css_animation="none"]*************************************************************************************** This video was produced by the ChristadelphianVideo.org project, arranged and supported by Christadelphians worldwide. Jesus Christ...Born of a virgin

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css="" css_animation="none"] A @Christadelphians Video: Jesus Christ was born of a virgin. This tells us several things about Jesus. For example, it tells us what the phrase "Son of God" means. Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, as we read in both the Gospels of Matthew and Luke. According to Luke 1:35 this is why Jesus is called the Son of God. Putting this another way, whenever Jesus is described as the Son of God we have a reference to the virgin birth. The fact that Jesus was born of a virgin shows that he has two sides to his nature. He is a descendant of human beings and he is descended from God. His human ancestry includes David, the great king of Old Testament times. It is important that Jesus is a descendant of David, because David was promised a descendant who would rull the world in an everlasting kingdom. The virgin birth is what makes Jesus the Son of God (luke 1:35). This tells us that God is the father of Jesus and that Jesus has no human father. It also tells us that Jesus is not God, and that the Holy Spirit is the power of God. Jesus was born through the action of the Holy Spirit. If the Holy Spirit is a separate person from the Father, then it is the Holy Spirit that is the Father of God, and not the Father. It only makes sense to say that the Holy Spirit is not a separate person, but is the power of God in action. This video is produced by the Gospel Online project which is arranged and supported by the Christadelphian community in the United Kingdom. # Summary This presentation provides an in-depth examination of the biblical account of Jesus Christ's virgin birth, highlighting its significance and the prophetic fulfillment of this pivotal event in Christian theology. ### Highlights The presentation explores the biblical descriptions of Jesus as the "Son of God," differentiating this from the general references to God's followers as "sons of God" or the "sons of God" in the Old Testament. 🔍 The presentation delves into the accounts of Jesus' conception and birth as recorded in the Gospels of Matthew and Luke, emphasizing the miraculous nature of the virgin birth and Mary's role as the chosen mother of the Messiah. 🔍 The presentation addresses common objections to the virgin birth, such as the suggestion that the accounts were later insertions, and the difficulty some have with the idea of God having a son, and provides a biblical response to these concerns. 🔍 The presentation highlights the significance of the virgin birth, explaining how it was necessary for Jesus to be both fully human and fully divine in order to fulfill his role as the sacrificial saviour and the "God with us" prophesied in the Old Testament. 🔍 The presentation concludes by emphasising the marvel and wonder of God's love in sending his "only begotten son" to save humanity, as described in the famous verse John 3:16. # Keywords - Christian theology - Virgin birth - Christology - Messianic prophecy [embedyt] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SsccFMNRu5U[/embedyt] #1 Our Main site...                      #2 Our podcast on Spotify..      #3 Our podcast on Apple.        #4 Our podcast on Podbean   #5 Our facebook...                      #6 Our Whats App..                      #7 Our Instagram...                     #8 Our X...                                       #9 Our YouTube Channel...     #10 Our Audio site ...                 Watch/read/Listen/ subscribe to  thoughts for the day CHRISTADELPHIANVIDEO.ORG, a worldwide collaboration by Christadelphians to help promote the understanding of God's Word to those who are seeking the Truth about the Human condition and God's plan and Purpose with the Earth and Mankind upon it. #Christadelphianvideo #christadelphianstalk #Christadelphians #bibletruthfeed #openbible #Gospeltruth #gospel #Christadelphian #bibletruthfeed #podcast[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][/vc_column][/vc_row] https://christadelphianvideo.org/studyvideo/jesus-christ-born-of-a-virgin/?feed_id=79273&_unique_id=6745a5a8a08f7
